Seattle Man Sentenced to 72 Years for Multiple Murders

A Seattle, WA. man was sentenced to 72 years in prison for shooting his grandmother, ex-girlfriend, and ex-girlfriend’s dog. The man was previously ordered to not have any contact with either of the parties but failed to follow the court’s orders. On July 7, 2015 the man started his crime spree until he was taken into custody. The defense attempted to place the blame on a bad childhood and drug addiction.

2 N.C. Children Shoot Mother’s Attacker Dead

Two children from North Carolina were forced to use a gun to defend their mother who was being attacked. The man had a history of violence with the mother and brandished a pistol previously. He also was alleged to have threatened to have killed all within the house. One of the kids found the weapon and gave it to the older sibling who in turn shot the man who was in the middle of assaulting the mother. He died quickly at the scene of the crime and authorities decided not to press charges against the children. Another sibling was injured in the attack as well as the mother, both were treated for the wounds then released.

9-Month-Old Baby Found After 24 Years

In Connecticut a woman entered a hospital not knowing her true identity. After a DNA test, it was discovered she was a missing 9-month-old Arizona in 1994. Sadly the girl’s mother was murdered shortly after her disappearance, which only added fuel to the mystery. The woman is now forming new relationships with the family she had not seen since her birth.

Skeleton Found in Sacramento Backyard

A Sacramento neighborhood was shaken when workers helping with a home renovation discovered human bones, eventually finding the entire skeleton the day after Christmas. After a brief investigation a suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of stabbing his roommate in 2015 and disposing of his body in the backyard.


 

Former Singer Beaten to Death on New Year’s Day

A former soul singer was beaten and strangled by a young homeless man on January 1st, 2018. The singer had taken to the streets in recent years and was trying to find shelter where she could when a 22-year-old Rosendo Xo Pec attempted to rape the 76-year-old woman. As she attempted to flee and alert others the assailant became increasingly violent as he struck the woman in the head and began choking her. She would die before help arrived. Thankfully Rosendo was taken into custody and faces multiple charges

Woman Parks in Reserved Parking for Police Chief; Smokes Weed

NORTHPORT, NY. A 26-year-old woman who was already due in court for marijuana related incident was given additional citations when she arrived at the court allegedly on her cell phone, cutting off police vehicles and finally parking in the police chiefs reserved parking spot; the most horrific crime there is. When officers approached her vehicle, and asked her to roll the window down, a plume of smoke rushed from her vehicle. She was promptly cited for this violation as well.

Convicted Murderer Given Life in Prison for Double-Homicide

Las Vegas, Nevada. A 27-year-old, Bryan Devonte Clay, was found guilty of the double homicide in 2012 that left a 10-year-old daughter and her mother dead, bludgeoning the two with a hammer. Despite the horrific crimes, Bryan was spared the death penalty and instead was given life in prison. The father and husband of the victims has forgiven the suspect and feels life in prison is an acceptable form of punishment.

Man Arrested With Skull and Meth in Car

Just East of San Francisco lies Angels Camp, CA., a man was arrested for traveling with a human skull in the trunk.. He was cited for the aforementioned as well as driving on a suspended license, possession of methamphetamine and for violating the conditions of his parole. The man was stopped after running a stop sign, odd behavior for someone with so much in his possession. The skull’s origin is still unknown.

Familicide Man Sentenced to Death

Naples, Florida. October 27th, 2017. A decision on sentencing has been reached in the Damas Familicide case. Mesac Damas was sentenced to death for the murder of his entire family on September 18th, 2009. Up until this point Mesac had acted strangely, from refusing to bathe and groom his self to changing his name throughout his incarceration. He was eventually sent to a mental health facility but in mid-2017 he was found to be competent to stand trial where the court made their ruling.

Infant Found Dead In Baby Swing Covered in Insects

Alta Vista, Iowa. August 30th, 2017. 911 dispatch is summoned to the home of a young child, Sterling Koehn. The parents of the child called concerned and reported that their 4-month old infant was unresponsive. As soon as paramedics arrived they were shocked at what was discovered. The lifeless corpse of a child in a baby swing, slumped and unmoving. The child was found dead with maggots littered throughout his body and within his clothes. Authorities would later comment the child had not been fed or cleaned in days, theorizing he was left in the swing, unsupervised for days before finally perishing from the neglect.

The parents have been charged with child endangerment and first-degree murder with their first court appearance scheduled for Nov. 2, 2017.

Twins Found Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide

October 19th, 2017. Helena, Montana. Twins Travis and Eric Carlson were both discovered dead from gunshot wounds. After an autopsy it has been theorized by authorities that Travis was murdered by Eric and Eric died by his own hand, allegedly self-inflicted gun shot wounds. Official motive has not yet been established and the twin untimely deaths are still under investigation. 

Wallet Found at Robbery Helps Nab Suspect

October 19th, 2017, in Fair Lawn, New Jersey a robbery was committed. The Mavis Discount Tire Store was robbed of one of it's cash registers along with having a window broken, making for a pretty horrible day. Police were called and shortly thereafter a wallet was discovered at the scene of the crime. The wallet belonged to a 41-year-old individual whose name has not been released yet, who used to be employed at the tire store. Luckily the ex-employee noticed his missing wallet and decided to revisit the scene of the crime and he was soon busted along with a 36-year-old driver.

Man Arrested for Attempting to Assault Police Horse

A 59-year-old man in Worcester, Mass. was arrested earlier this month for an attempted assault on a police horse. During the Latin American Festival, while spirits were high, authorities claimed a man attempted to march through a group of officers on horseback after being told to go around. The man allegedly pushed his shoulder into a full-grown police horse in an attempt to move the group. He was quickly grabbed by the scruff of his neck and moved to the front of the horses. At this point, things go from bad to worse when the drunken man threw a punch at the horse. This in turn created a dangerous situation for the mounted officer as the horse reared up. The man was arrested and taken into custody but not before kicking two more officers.

Woman Slain on Porch from Gun Shot Wound to the Face

A 42-year-old woman named Melissa Manhart was found dead on her porch at an apartment complex earlier this month. She had died from a single gun shot wound to the face. The crime is an open case and is being investigated by the Pittsburgh violent crime unit.
